Rocky Horror Derby Show and Food Drive

Get ready for more roller derby action as the Tallahassee RollerGirls present “Rocky Horror Derby Show.” Watch as the Tallahassee’s Capital Punishment take on Brevard County’s Molly Roger Rollergirls on Saturday, August 14 with half-time entertainment provided by Tricksy at the North Florida Fairgrounds . Tickets can be purchased at Play It Again Sports, Bird’s Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack, Funky Planet Surf & Skate Shop in the Governor Square Mall, on our Website, or from your favorite RollerGirl. Tickets are $11 ahead of time, $12 online, or $13 at the door. The Tallahassee RollerGirls always like to do good deeds and we need your help! The Refuge House is in critical need of replenishing their food pantry for mothers and children in crisis. Please help by bringing a non-perishable food item(s) to our food drive during our bout this Saturday, August 14th at the North Florida Fairgrounds. As a way to say thank you we will give you a free Tallahassee RollerGirl goodie! Suggested items include easy to prepare items like cans of soup, vegetables or fruit, boxes or bags of pasta.

Skate of Emergency (Away vs Jax)

Want to see some exciting roller derby action? Join us in an exciting double header against the ladies of the Jacksonville RollerGirls now in their home turf. Entitled “Skate of Emergency,” the Duval Derby Dames will take on our Jailbreak Betties in the first bout, while the New Jax City Rollers take on our very own Capital Punishment in the headlining bout of the night. Doors open at 5:30pm, bout starts at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at the Jacksonville Ice & Sportplex.

TRG Fan Appreciation Carnival June 5th!

Tallahassee has the best fans and to say thank you, TRG is holding a Fan Appreciation Carnival at the North Florida Fairgrounds before the Jailbreak Betties take on the Ft. Myers Derby Girls. There will be a Cornhole Tournament starting at 4pm, the Great Cake Skate, and loads of games and prizes. Then stay to cheer on the Jailbreak Betties as they take on new opponents, the Ft. Myers Derby Girls. The Fan Appreciation Carnival events will take place from 3PM-6PM and the bout will follow at 7PM.

Remember that you can get advance tickets for Rollbots Attack! at Play It Again Sports on Capital Circle NE, Bird’s Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack on Bronough Street, and Funky Planet Surf and Skate Shop inside Governor’s Square Mall for $11. Tickets are available online at www.tallyrg.com for $12. Tickets will be available at the door for $13.

The ladies of Capital Punishment are traveling down south to take on the Molly Roger Rollergirls in “Oh Deer, Tally’s Here!” on Saturday, May 22 at 386 Commerce Parkway in Rockledge, Florida. Doors open at 6:30pm, bout at 7:30pm. If you around that area and want to watch some roller derby action, tickets are $12 at the door, $10 in advance.

TRG is heading to Franky Panky

The lovely ladies of Tampa Bay are hosting the first annual Franky Panky competition April 10 - 11, 2010. The Tallahassee Rollergirls will be making our way down south for two days of heated competition with Tampa, Cincinnati, and Dallas. Help cheer us on! The hard-hitting action will be taking place at the USF Recreation Center - Upper Gym (4202 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa 33620). 2010 TRG Season Passes

TRG is getting geared up for the 2010 season and back by popular demand, we have our 2010 Season Pass available. This pass entitles its owner entry to all TRG home bouts for only $51.50. Not only do you get to see the hard hitting ladies of TRG, but as a bonus we’ll let you in a half hour before doors open. However, you’ll want to get your pass(es) ASAP because we are limiting them to 100 lucky super-fans. So how can you get your season pass? Just go to our Web site’s merch section to purchase your pass and pick them up at the door before our first home bout on Saturday, April 17th.
