The Refuge House is in critical need of replenishing their food pantry for mothers and children in crisis. Please help by bringing a non-perishable food item(s) to our food drive during our bout this Saturday, August 14th at the North Florida Fairgrounds. As a way to say thank you we will give you a free Tallahassee RollerGirl goodie! Suggested items include easy to prepare items like cans of soup, vegetables or fruit, boxes or bags of pasta.

Want to see some exciting roller derby action? Join us in an exciting double header against the ladies of the Jacksonville RollerGirls now in their home turf. Entitled “Skate of Emergency,” the Duval Derby Dames will take on our Jailbreak Betties in the first bout, while the New Jax City Rollers take on our very own Capital Punishment in the headlining bout of the night. Doors open at 5:30pm, bout starts at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at the Jacksonville Ice & Sportplex.

Tallahassee has the best fans and to say thank you, TRG is holding a Fan Appreciation Carnival at the North Florida Fairgrounds before the Jailbreak Betties take on the Ft. Myers Derby Girls. There will be a Cornhole Tournament starting at 4pm, the Great Cake Skate, and loads of games and prizes. Then stay to cheer on the Jailbreak Betties as they take on new opponents, the Ft. Myers Derby Girls. The Fan Appreciation Carnival events will take place from 3PM-6PM and the bout will follow at 7PM.

The lovely ladies of Tampa Bay are hosting the first annual Franky Panky competition April 10 - 11, 2010. The Tallahassee Rollergirls will be making our way down south for two days of heated competition with Tampa, Cincinnati, and Dallas. Help cheer us on!
